Hand dyed Lugana for Sale

So now you have seen examples of my fabric being stitched and enjoyed by myself. Here are some pieces I have available for purchase. The Pieces are all fat quarters of Zweigart Lugana (28 count even  weave).  These first four pieces are plain or non opalescent and are priced at $35 AUD per piece. I have stretched each piece over a q-snap frame approximately 15 x 17 inches in size to provide a visual frame.
I call this colour combo Forest Floor and the dye effect Gemstone.

The colour I have titled Love potion and the dye effect I have used here is Aurora

I have named this piece Potpourri as the colours remind me of dried rose petals.
The dye effect here is Gemstone.

This piece I have labeled Tropicana as the greens and blues remind me of a tropical lagoon.
The dye effect used here is Gemstone.
So now for the sparkly opalescent pieces, which I will admit are tend to be my favourites. As I love using them to add that extra bit of magic to the Fairies and Mermaids that I tend to stitch. These are priced at $47 AUD.

This is Potpourri, Gemstone.
I was originally going to Stitch Joan Elliotts Fire goddess on this piece.

This is Forest Floor, Gemstone.
This is the same colour and effect that I stitched Nora Corbett's Halloween Fairy on.

This is Love Potion, Aurora.

and last but in no way least Tropicana Gemstone.
Getting true to colour pictures of hand dyed fabric is notoriously tricky and I am constantly experimenting with lighting camera settings etc to ensure that pictures are as true as I can make it.  If you are interested in a piece I am more than willing to send you more photos of the piece you are interested.

What I've been up to lately

The example of what summer is going to be like is here with a vengance and I am nearing the end of my huge spring cleanup. I have spent the weekend doing the mundane housework and baked a few batches of biscuits to my Monday to Friday 9-5 job. So now it is time do some more enjoyable me focused tasks. The first being updating this blog and showing of some more of my work.

So for show and tell today I am loading up photos of WIPs. Hopefully now that my clean up is nearing completion I can get in and move the to the completed pile.

The first two items are cross stitch pieces that are starting to look awesome even if I do say so myself they are both being done on 28 Laguna. The purple piece is Gemstone - Love Potion and the pattern I am working on it is the Ink Circles Design Cirque des Cercles. The other piece is opalescent Aurora - Potpourri and the pattern I am working is Joan Elliott's Fire Goddess.

The two bag panels are the same pattern from the book "The bag making bible" by Lisa Lam. I am using my quilting fabrics to compliment the prints. I have a long weekend coming up next weekend and the goal is to get these finished.
